With fashion blooming to its ecstatic form in the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2016, a prepossessing collection by designer Anita Dongre on Friday added a touch of traditional enchantment to the show.

Love notes, a mesmerising collection by Anita Dongre inspired by her all time favourite Rajasthan based traditions. Anita very charmingly captured the poignant emotion of love depicted through the musings of a young woman. The ambience captured the emotions of these loves notes and was directed perfectly to the designs she revealed.

It started with Dia mirza with a small introduction while she subtly flaunt one of Anita’s collection. A fresh tonality was given to exquisite indian wear glorifying the royal affair against ethnicity and regal backdrop of Rajasthan.

Crafted in pallete of pastel blues , pinks, sunshine yellows with loads of whites set foot for the distinct theme of royalty with flair and  heritage adding modern elements to the Indian silhouettes.

Comfort complimented the occasional wear through gorgeous lehengas, tops, kurti sewed in light weight fabric like cotton and silk. The grassroot themes got a new definition through the dark shades with black, dark green, dark blues and meroon and the mirror work that reflected Varanasi waves.

The show stopper,  Sonakshi Sinha in a royal blue skirt and a white jacket choli with the signature gotta – Patti work if Anita reigned the glamour of the shoe along with the male models dressed in white bandgalas and dhoties and salwars to compliment them. The dancing tune of

mera laung wacha

with Sonakshi looking enchanting as ever added more allure to the theme.
