Saba, you have re-created the magic of the Darj in your beautiful and descriptive post today! I have visited Darjeeling a couple of times and have forever been enchanted with its beauty. Reading your post brought back the memories of the lovely locales.. The only thing that I may wish to add to your expansive description is the area at the heart of Darjeeling called The Mall, where people love to gather around, spend time, shop and watch the day rolling into dusk.. and at one corner of The Mall is the Keventers, a coffee shop from the British times, which is famous for its signature hot-chocolates!
I am indeed relishing the reads of your travelogues and looking forward to the next ones.. More power to you to travel and write 🙂

  8. Hi, Saba. It’s nice to read about Darjeeling. I visited it at my childhood and will visit again in the coming May. But, why did you put the picture of the Silk Route (1st one) and the picture of the plantation (2nd one), which are not in Darjeeling?
