Fold the loads this sonday!

Heya! Here’s something again for the equality values we as moms see instilling in our kids. The mission in which we are all set to reach our kids the basic value that house chores aren’t gender discriminated, they are a duty which everyone in the family should be contributing in and happily so! This one value can help us lay a foundation of an equal, justified future that doesn’t force a girl or a boy to take up a certain task and follow It forcibly.

So, We are all together with Ariel India in this mission to create an equal India which shares the load in every step. Thus, finally, it’s that time of the week again where in we turn our Sunday’s in to Sondays, a day especially dedicated for the sons to help moms share the domestic chores of the household, credit goes to Ariel India! After successfully completing the previous three tasks, it’s time for the fourth Sunday task and we were all excited for it. The challenge said that sons should be taking a challenge to fold as many clothes as possible within just 30 seconds.

Well, my son usually took these types of chores as a cake walk. He was quite confident he would fold more than five in this time. Well, let’s see what he did!

He let go the neatness aside and sat there comfortably all set to do the challenge the best way. He was all set to complete the task within minim time possible and also arranging them as systematically as possible. And surprisingly, he did well! Actually, he folded more than five clothes and was quite proud of it. I never knew before he would be actually so fast in this task though he used to fold his clothes regularly when he used to clean and arrange his wardrobe. But that task usually took him quite some time to be completed. Taking it as a challenging spirit with giving in his best and folding them nicely was something surprising and made me feel really great.

As for me, I’m glad my son evolved as a winner in all the four tasks given by Ariel India which depicted the slogan, #SonsShareTheLoad. For me, I’m glad K through these challenges, instilled the value of sharing the load of house chores in to him.

I pledge to #ShareTheLoad in household chores in association with Ariel and BlogAdda
