Getting ready for #MyFriendAlexa!

So, it’s the first time for me! I am all nervous and confused and searching all those articles on Alexa rank and browsing through twitter with the hashtag, #MyFriendAlexa and literally spamming blogchatter team there with my queries! Thanks God their patient and didn’t block me for this!

But I guess, I have got the main idea digested! It’s a blogging festival! A big one! That’ll eventually help me get a higher performance for my blog and not to forget getting the better ranking at its highness, Alexa. The lower I rank at Alexa, the higher I rank in the blogging world. Plus the interactions and genuine feedback’s I would be getting on my blog would be another positive factor to look forward to.

What’s more? For the love of reading, I get to read some varied works of numerous bloggers all so experienced and amazing writers because of this fest. A minimum of eight or many in one or many niches are welcome here too.

I guess, I should dedicate my September to a month full of variety of niches covered in this blogging fest. I would start a chain of blogs with genres and cover almost all aspects of lifestyle and other niches while we complete the fest. For example, my first blog would be on pregnancy stages while second can be on fashion styles. I can dedicate my third one for food and the fourth one for technology. Similarly, writing on travel for the fifth and finance for the sixth would be a great choice too. I am planning to let my seventh post be dedicated to food and eighth one for travel! Who knows I may even cross the eight figure and write more! May be the ninth one would be on parenting and tenth one can be on home decor ideas and I can even write an eleventh on fiction and more on parenting and more.

Let see if these ideas work and I can survive through this challenge after the A2Z challenge! Wish me luck and stay tuned for a month full of varied and exciting posts!

Distinguishing between the symptoms of chikungunya and dengue!

Knowing chikungunya and dengue.

Mosquitoes borne diseases are on a high since the last decade in India and other Asian countries. Out of these, dengue is often fatal and chikungunya can also lead to death in various cases. The cause of them both is mosquitoes bites though their sources lie from different mosquito families.

On the onset of these diseases, experts get confused mostly detecting whether its dengue or chikungunya because the symptoms of dengue and that of chikungunya are almost similar with mild differences. Hence, medication often gets mislead and the process of curing the illness takes longer than usual. Today, let’s get discriminating the symptoms of both the fevers so that we get a better understanding of them.

Discrimination between chikungunya and dengue!

  • In dengue fever, the incubation period is of about 3-7 days and remains for about 4-6 weeks while in chikungunya fever, the incubation period is of 1-10 days and it remains for about a fortnight.
  • Dengue fever carries high fever with severe headache, rashes and joint pains. In chikungunya, fever is accompanied with extreme joint pain and mild rashes.
  • Muscle pain is mostly around the back portion of arms and legs and there’s a high degree of joint pain on shoulders and knees. While is chikungunya, joint pain remains on hands and feet with some swelling at the area.
  • Dengue symptoms in adults includes heavy bleeding sometimes from nose too.
  • Rashes are mostly experienced on the face in dengue while in chikungunya, the rashes can be felt on the face, trunk, lips, palm and face.

Preventive measures! While we know both of the diseases have no proper vaccines till recently, it’s important to follow the precautions religiously to avoid the onset of these dangerous diseases.

  • Wearing of full sleeves clothes to avoid exposing the skin to mosquito bites.
  • Using of effective and skin friendly mosquito repellent creams like GoodKnight mosquito repellent skin gel.
  • When outdoors, keeping the kids safe by using mosquito repellent patches.
  • Closing off the windows after sunset or using the mosquito repellent machines at home.

Hydrating with instacuppa #SuperBloggerChallenge2018.

12 O clock in the noon, April sun already beaming in its hardest form and a huge pile of work to be done! I was already feeling dizzy and parched. A swift movement to get my flask made my office go on a merry go round trip again! I caught the edge of the table, gathered my self together and grabbed the flask with a protein shake in it. When was the last time you had some fluid?” She inquired. “Actually, it was a protein shake, I tried having it in the morning but it had already started smelling awful till noon in that flask thing”. ” oh! So we get the hang of it! You are just dehydrated.” Here, she knows everything. I always boasted amongst my friends that my dietician was a health and fitness google! She knew almost all going in the health and fitness world.

“Well, actually, due to lack of water intake, we often feel that we are hungry. Here, intake of enough water takes its part and helps our body functions go working perfectly well. Easy ways to prevent Malaria!

Being a mother I am always conscious of my baby’s health! With the growing onset of diseases in our country, keeping kids healthy is really a huge task to accomplish. Some diseases evolving as a threat for our health are dengue, malaria, chikungunya, zika etc. While most of diseases have got some good vaccination for them, malaria seems to be lagging in it.

Until recently, no perfectly working vaccine to prevent malaria has been recorded, though experts are working on it continuously. Once malaria takes a better grip on the body it may often lead to back to back severe conditions like jaundice, convulsions etc. Thus, making the process of curing a little one becomes a bit lengthy and painful. Prevention is the wise step one can follow to avoid a this fatal disease.

For knowing the prevention factors a more in detail, let’s get to know more about malaria, its causes and some easiest preventive methods which we, mothers must definitely try.

Malaria is a serious disease found in most of the Asian countries. It’s not contagious and is caused by bites of parasites that are transmitted to people through the bite of anopheles mosquito or infected mosquitoes. Once an infected mosquito bites a human, the parasites multiply in the liver and start infecting and destroy red blood cells.

Although the symptoms of malaria vary from person to person, from a kid to an adult, some of the symptoms are common to all. The most common symptoms are fever, headache, nausea and vomiting, weakness and body aches. While, some severe conditions may be diarrhoea, anemia, bloody stools, often coma and death too.

When I researched on it more closely, I found that according to recent studies, NEARLY 95% OF INDIA LIVES IN MALARIA ENDEMIC AREAS This is surely a genuine factor of concern, as even we may be included in the 95% of the population residing in such areas.
Hence, the rising cases of malaria around Asia and in the country is a grave issue to be resolved yet! As this disease proves to be fatal in most of the cases, deaths caused due to malaria is another challenge that world health organization is striving its best to fight with.

Malarial parasites breed on stagnating surroundings like standing water or accumulation of wet garbage.

To avoid it, make sure you don’t let water collect around your area. A regular check on your plantations with proper insecticides can also avoid the mosquitoes.

Mosquitoes often move around biting during the time of twilight. Hence, during dusk and dawn make sure your windows are closed and there is no room for them to enter the house. This is not a guaranteed method though, they may already be hiding in your home somewhere, but taking the precautions may be helpful all the same.

As a parent I am usually so much worried about protecting my child from all odds! These are some little, easy ways that can keep you relieved that you are doing your best to protect your kids from polluted air. Health is just so important! Being considered wealth commonly, we very well know how much it’s worthed. But, what we don’t know is to maintain this wealth perfectly in our safes forever. To maintain anything precious, a little effort on our part is needed so that it doesn’t disintegrate. So, a healthy body to be maintained calls for some efforts from individuals too.

We being so much busy nowadays have hardly any time to follow a proper meal schedule, let alone the idea of following regular exercise and diet plan. Taking all these efforts for some time may be possible, but a healthy body calls for constant attention for its well being. Concluding it simply, a 21st century individual has hardly the appropriate time, effort and sources to carry out the proper workout schedule and diet needed for a healthy body.

Yes, even a little stretching up done while are busy cleaning around the living room, or a little fast walk when you are moving from cabin to cabins at office can be included in being exercise for your body.

As rightly said above, lets creat habits not restrictions! Lets make our health and excercise a habit that tend to stay with us longer than making it a restriction that may seem like a burden later on.

At this time, these little habits created while you still carry on with daily routine can actually help you be mor healthy. Believe me, these little steps along with some tiny alteration in your meal plan may result in a better, healthier you and without even bothering to constraint your self with some extra training session.

So, even if your health was neglected till date, or you just couldn’t find enough time for a good excercise training session, you can start from today onwards. 10 Tips for a healthy and safe pregnancy!

Pregnancy is a crucial turnover in any woman’s life! So, if you are planning a baby or are pregnant make sure you take certain precautions for the better health of yourself and the child. As mother’s health and fitness plays a key role for the foetus’ proper growth and development and the child’s birth condition. While you are at the stage of having the most prominent change in your life, make sure you take a look at these detailed tips for a better and healthy prenatal and postnatal results.

  • Essential minerals and vitamins: As soon as you get your pregnancy test positive, make sure you get yourself prescribed the best and most suitable vitamins, calcium and folic acid tablets. Although, your diet, which will now be richer in these nutrients may contain these minerals, it may not be enough for a healthy pregnancy. Malaria can also be passed on the placenta and thus even new born would get affected.
