Getting ready for #MyFriendAlexa!

So, it’s the first time for me! I am all nervous and confused and searching all those articles on Alexa rank and browsing through twitter with the hashtag, #MyFriendAlexa and literally spamming blogchatter team there with my queries! Thanks God their patient and didn’t block me for this!

But I guess, I have got the main idea digested! It’s a blogging festival! A big one! That’ll eventually help me get a higher performance for my blog and not to forget getting the better ranking at its highness, Alexa. The lower I rank at Alexa, the higher I rank in the blogging world. Plus the interactions and genuine feedback’s I would be getting on my blog would be another positive factor to look forward to.

What’s more? For the love of reading, I get to read some varied works of numerous bloggers all so experienced and amazing writers because of this fest. A minimum of eight or many in one or many niches are welcome here too.

I guess, I should dedicate my September to a month full of variety of niches covered in this blogging fest. I would start a chain of blogs with genres and cover almost all aspects of lifestyle and other niches while we complete the fest. For example, my first blog would be on pregnancy stages while second can be on fashion styles. I can dedicate my third one for food and the fourth one for technology. Similarly, writing on travel for the fifth and finance for the sixth would be a great choice too. I am planning to let my seventh post be dedicated to food and eighth one for travel! Who knows I may even cross the eight figure and write more! May be the ninth one would be on parenting and tenth one can be on home decor ideas and I can even write an eleventh on fiction and more on parenting and more.

Let see if these ideas work and I can survive through this challenge after the A2Z challenge! Wish me luck and stay tuned for a month full of varied and exciting posts!

Book review- Bhrigu Mahesh PhD The Return Of Dayamanti by Nisha Singh.

New week, new book and here’s the most anticipated review! I just finished reading a new thriller, mystery novel in fiction category by Nisha Singh, the famous author of the book, The witch of Senduwar. It’s the second book of this series featuring the inimitable detective namely, Bhrigu Mahesh, PhD,  in the book The Return Of Dayamanti!

I must say, this novel thought me varios sides of indian culture and tradition that I myself wasn’t aware of. The author here, brilliantly and in so much detail describes the Indian culture profoundly well amidst the interesting twists and turns of the mystery. The book leads you to the introductory part of the mystery in the starting, while giving you ample time and idea to derive your idea about the mystery the best way. And you also get a sneak peak in the ancient historic practises of indians in this part.

While you proceed in the second part, the mystery, which is still unsolved, takes a shocking turn and goes on from being a thriller to a mysterious murder case! As the various clues and evidences get unveiled, you feel so much at the loose ends about your guessing about the whole mystery. The writer so very well, brings about the most unexpected turns in as the mystery proceeds.

Till you proceed the third part, you are at your curiosity’s end to find out the culprit, and unexpectedly so, you find out, but in the most weird way! And the connections those minute incidences in the story had till the end and how brilliantly were those threads connected is just amazing!

I am still very much awwed and amazed with the character of Bhrigu Mahesh, he is certainly a psychological genius and an impressive detective. The fabulous way in which he observes the smallest of the details and keeps them in his mind, and later connects his observations with the results will leave you astounded.

Summed up, this novel has it all! The spice of a mystery, the grip of a thriller, a detailed yet an impressive expression of indian psychology and some even unexplored indian history with a little sarcasm about our very prejudiced and ancient mentality along with a hint of sarcasm about our beliefs. All these are so very brilliantly bounded up in a very admirable way with just the proper words needed for the same.

Apart from some of spelling mistakes, and a little irreverent details in the starting, I didn’t find any dull minute or paragraph in the entire book. If you love fiction and are a fan of mystery novels and like to challenge your theories now and then, I think you should check up this book and also the series of Bhrigu Mahesh for some fresh and challenging time reading.

At the end of each book, I always sort out some sentences or words that do inspire me and leave a mark on my memory, here are some from this book too.

“Simple is any person who is in the outside as he is inside. He can be a factory worker or a great thinker, if he is true to himself, he is a simple man and in the least ordinary.”
“Well, I could have used  psychology, but it feels so wrong! They have made the word sound as if we are moving in to the world of blurry images, indistinct landscapes, hocus pocus and a lot of  mumbo jumbo that has neither head nor tail. The world of psychology has evolved more as a science equivalent to tantra mantra and I hate to acknowledge what they have done to it.”
You can get the book in paperback and also in e-book from online stores.

Box8 Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

A healthy with a variety is always yummy to have! Box 8 is just the name what flicks in your mind when you think of pure Indian food presented in the most delicious, compatible way.

Bringing in a healthier twist to our Indian flavours along with some juicy saucy touch to it, the box8 wraps and sandwiches are something to grab a bite of! The triple decker chicken sandwich is one of the example of thier scrumptious healthy treat. Three layered wheat bread sandwich along with s mixture of sauces, chicken and some veggies is just a perfect meal to grab.

The wraps are no lesser healthier and tastier.  Chicken mayo wrap and chef special panneer wrap are some of my favorite and exotic to have. The perfect Roti base and the delicious mixture if sauces with some veggies tossed is just so tempting, filling and healthy too.

I really liked the newly introduced concept of thier fusion meal boxes that contained everything from gravies too parathas , rice, salad and a deszert. The options offered in this is large too. I prefer the panneer makhani meal from those.

The peshawari chicken box is something really tempting and exotic for the non vegetarians out there . Chicken pieces with masala and some plain rice is just lovely to try.

Desserts are no more an exception when it comes for serving some delectable meals from box 8! Choco lava, gulab jamuns, moong dal halwa and muffins are some of them . But I prefered the chocolate brownies this time. Really liked thier soft heavily feel and the delicious chocolate taste. Thier signature bevarages of that being a lemon flavor and an ice tea is something worth trying too.

These and those charming palettes and packing and on time delivery adds in to the glamour of this super delicious range of food offerings.

Apart from all these, the interview I recently read of the founder of box 8 chain really left me impressed and eager to try out more varieties from them what caught my attention most was this query and the answer to it.

When designing Box8’s menu, what did you want to keep in mind (in terms of taste, value for money, variety and so on). How do Box8’s dishes appeal to the Indian palate?

The focus lies in preparing food which is delicious, easy on the stomach and made from quality ingredients, allowing the consumers to order food frequently

Ravishing pizzas is the most tempting idea for a meal! The varied choices offered nowadays in various types of pizzas do add to the temptation of having them almost each day.

While most of the pizza offering hubs serve almost the same variety of pizzas in the same way, Mojo pizzas has something really enormous, yummy and tempting to offer you in the category of pizzas.

The perfect soft base with a crunch edge and the right amount of fillings with a generous use of cheese can turn anyone on. I am really a super fan of their pizzas after having some really delectable offerings from them.
