A blind date with mysteries around the world! #SayYesToTheWorld

“We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.“

I am thirty plus now! May be I would live for ten more years, or twenty more or just a day other than this one! The world that lays it’s arms open for me would close someday and I’ll silently be amongst the thousands of them, who never stepped out to explore it! Thus, I set off, I set off on a journey that was still unknown to me, I date with time, a date with world, a blind date!

For days I travelled, explored and experienced! This world was insane! Each new corner says a different story, each new valley has a mystery attached to it! Those very mountains standing with pride over the stretch of land has so much to offer other than shades. Those wide stretch milky oceans has a depth of lakhs and mysteries worth crores! The greens that surround the nature so widely have an aura of unknowing spirits in them.

So, off I went, to explore the world, my blind date henceforth. The beauty of the world is vast, so are it’s mysteries! I wanted to solve those mysteries since ages. Hence, when the world allowed me a blind date, I asked if I could explore those mysterious places in it, if I could try my level of efforts to solve those mysteries. If only I could have the key to the questions those destinations left on the minds of the people, if only I could visit there and get a first hand experience of how these mysteries have survived to be still a question even after centuries.

My date with lake Natron, the petrifying lake, Tanzania was to know how the natural resources have got the power to create the incredible statues of each animal or living things that died in it.

When unnerved this, I headed straight to India, to the Roopkaland skeleton lake to solve the mystery of the those skeletons that have been part of this lake since years and are still preserved in their basic forms.

From there I went to watch the panorama of the colourful Vinicunka rainbow mountains at Peru and indulge in a breathtaking experience of watching the colours create a charisma on a mountain.

The blood falls of Antarctica was my next destination. I was super curious to know how in a chilling climate of Antarctica can water falling from a cliff can bleed?

I slowly opened my eyes. I had been in a state of slumber for hours. Hence, dreamt of going on a blind date with the world during this hour. Credit to the recent post by Indiblogger giving me high end ideas on the same! But, what if the wish comes true, what if I was really on a trail of a blind date with those unexplored mysterious places?

There was more to explore, to unwind and to find around the globe. I’ll de hitting almost all of them. It’s an exaggeration, but what doesn’t happen when you wish sincerely! My thirst for exploring could never satisfy. Going on with a bucket list to planned destinations is good, but unveiling secret and never before destinations is great! Getting ready for #MyFriendAlexa!

So, it’s the first time for me! I am all nervous and confused and searching all those articles on Alexa rank and browsing through twitter with the hashtag, #MyFriendAlexa and literally spamming blogchatter team there with my queries! Thanks God their patient and didn’t block me for this!

But I guess, I have got the main idea digested! It’s a blogging festival! A big one! That’ll eventually help me get a higher performance for my blog and not to forget getting the better ranking at its highness, Alexa. The lower I rank at Alexa, the higher I rank in the blogging world. Plus the interactions and genuine feedback’s I would be getting on my blog would be another positive factor to look forward to.

What’s more? For the love of reading, I get to read some varied works of numerous bloggers all so experienced and amazing writers because of this fest. A minimum of eight or many in one or many niches are welcome here too.

I guess, I should dedicate my September to a month full of variety of niches covered in this blogging fest. I would start a chain of blogs with genres and cover almost all aspects of lifestyle and other niches while we complete the fest. For example, my first blog would be on pregnancy stages while second can be on fashion styles. I can dedicate my third one for food and the fourth one for technology. Similarly, writing on travel for the fifth and finance for the sixth would be a great choice too. I am planning to let my seventh post be dedicated to food and eighth one for travel! Who knows I may even cross the eight figure and write more! May be the ninth one would be on parenting and tenth one can be on home decor ideas and I can even write an eleventh on fiction and more on parenting and more.

Book review- Notes from the road by Shilpa Garg!

For all the wanderlusts and travel fanatics, here’s, a Bible you should be keeping up locked with your always ready to take suitcases. This book written by Shilpa Garg has incredible information and tips for all the travellers out there. From your always must carry essentials from travelling to the quotes that can inspire you to travel more, it has it all.

I wouldn’t just call it the notes for the road, rather it’s an encyclopaedia of the roads! I really loved how she made appropriate spaces in between those short and curt tips and shared her experiences as an example of the same. Its really amazing to read a book that had millions of words hidden under those thousands printed ones. She made it a point to explain each of the points in between briefly, yet conveying the message pretty well to her readers.

Each new chapter, each new page brings you a different perspective of travels, roadtrips, hotel expectations, etc. I don’t think so she missed anything while covering up the the travel aspects of life.

Some of those funny incidents she shared is really a must read. And I am still wondering about thst lady dimple she so briefly yet funnily described in one of her chapters.

Some of her situations that she described in detail with her experiences as reference, are so much relative. I really felt even I should start packing up my bags and set up for a trip after reading her amazing, to the point book on the same.

I’d really like to congratulate her on her writings. There’s not a single word wasted in the book and the book proves to be quite a useful one to read and keep and relate and try whenever travelling.

Overall, I really am impressed in the way she have expressed, shared, taunted (some of the times), relived some moments and adviced in this book. I would rate it 4.8/5. It’s a lovely read and pretty useful for all of us. Must read!

That was for the blogging quality, for travel blog in specific, you need the curiosity to explore mother nature and her beauty. You should be an avid traveller and always with a camera or your smartphone ready to click whatever is distinct of that particular destination. For example, you can choose Life of a Wanderlust, The travelpeodea, etc. Just make sure these names aren’t already registered and used before as someone else’s website.

Format your images

I am sure if you have the idea of being a successful travel blogger, you may be having some thousands of images of those places you went to inspire you! Now is the time to format them location wise and keep the like ones in a particular folder. Make sure your images are cropped well to give the locations proper visibility. If you want you can also watermark your images with the help of apps like photogrid, photoeditor, etc. In case, if you don’t have your personally clicked images and still want to use images from someone or get it downloaded from web, make sure you have their permissions or are giving due credits for the images. From Google, of you want images without the copyrights, you can choose from thousands of images from pixabay. They don’t need any credits are available easily from web for free.

Get your researchs right

Make sure all your facts about the place are intact. If you need, you can cross verify your research through google. You can even inquire and take some ideas from the locals there and then describe all those factors briefly in your blog. Don’t try to over emphasise your your details. Its really good that you want to share all your ideas and informations on your blog with people, but frankly speaking, no one has the time to read so much about anything. So, it’s advisable to get all your details and informations compact in few lines, yet covering all the aspects well and jot it down in your blog beautifully.

If you want to become a successful travel blogger, it’s really important to check for the travel related keywords which are trending and get used in your blogs. This will help in catching major readers for your blogs and get your travel post better reach. You can also make use of relative and suitable hashtags and keywords when you promote your blog through your social media sites like Facebook, instagram, twitter, trell, etc. When it comes to trell, you just can’t be a perfect travel blogger if you don’t have this app on your phone. Zurich- Zestful beauty of Switzerland
