Dinner date outside is a cute little private family affair in public ! A sweet little quality time we enjoy most with our family members at our favorite food outlets . We often try to search for new restaurants and always better than the previous ones . We inquire among st friends about a new dine gateway or browse through internet sites like askme.com for some great restaurants with good reviews . And , in the end , we tend to choose the best one that’s in our budget !
Same was in my case when my family decided for a dinner party outside at a good restaurant and after  lot of discussion and search , we opted for Balwas restaurant at Tardeo or Marine lines , Mumbai . It’s the easiest accessible restaurant with it’s huge hoarding being viewed even from far away . So , pretty easy to reach !

There’s ample parking space and hence , no worries when coming to resting your buddy car anywhere near . A pleasant doorman smiles and greets at me as I enter the beautifully designed inner restaurant with peaceful ambience and a large staff inside waiting eagerly to help out thier guests with seatings . Couldn’t help clicking a pic of the dimly yet charmingly lit place  with artistic historical paintings enhancing the charm of it .

Corner table was what we chose for us . Neatly laid and spic and span with traditional salad of onions and pickles and chutney placed immediately as we got settled . .

Ordering food was certainly a tough job with so many varities of Indian , chinese , mughlai , veg , non – veg , sea food , dessert and what not ! But , after quite a dilemma we ended up ordering kebab -e -khaas . Just as special as it’s name . Coated chicken in slight red spices stuffed generously and cooked to perfection ! Pleasant and ravishing taste that I don’t think I would be able to forget for a decade more !

After the starters , Chicken shahjahani , a mughlai chicken rich gravy mediumly spiced and a creamy taste followed ! Spices and chicken blended just the right way left us satisfied to the chore with the taste so awesome !

Tandoori roties went quite well with this gravy . Although the roti was not too soft or extra ordinary to speak a lot about , but still it was accurately made and cooked and was quite pleasant going on with the gravy .

All full after such a yummy treat , our tummies disagreed for more .But , when we read about this unique dessert , we couldn’t help ourselves , but try this out . It was honeymoon special ! Lol , it’s not that we were on honeymoon or something like that , the dessert’s name was honeymoon special . So , now you can understand our curiosity when we said we wanted to give it a try !
And finally , the surprise discloses , it’s something yummy and tempting to the chore !

Its three scoops of ice creams with butterscotch , pistachio and strawberry flavors topped up with sweet jelly .. too sweet for that matter . It would have been better if the jelly wouldn’t have been too sweet . And tanned fruits were also a part of the dessert ! As the picture speak , it tasted wonderful too except the jelly .otherwise , it did great things to my taste buds satisfying them .
In all , it was a perfect dinner , with serene ambiance and good cooking intensifying the awesome dining experience and well , guess what , these all costs not more than 1k for a couple .
