Story of life by a daughter, a wife, a mother, a woman!

Life was anonymous when it started! Gifts just poured in, without tags, without attributions. Compliments came naturally, never expected to be returned as a favour. Humbleness existed, selfless love had some place. She  got noticed even though she wasn’t adorned for it. Got those smiles even though She never returned them back. It never caused grimness around. Beautiful memories of then are still available. Deep inside somewhere. Even though no cameras captured them, no recorder caught them live. But they still create a magic around, similar to the one it had before, brings a smile to her  face. Just the thoughts are enough to cherish, so what if that time passed away, memories bear their immortal taste.

Papas princess, the one whom he was so proud of! Mom never heard harsh against her. Then too, she was easily bid off. But this was beautiful. Life took a new turn. The pages seems glorious, sweet and totally alien. But the feelings were charming, promising they seemed. Until acceptance became unbearable, adjustments became a routine, life turned into a duty and relationships a trade! A smile never saw a return gift now. The compliments turned sour, name tags bigger than the presents and love….. love was there somewhere but no one knew where. Life turned mean. Everything happened for a reason and expected practicality. These memories just passed, like some blank pages in life. She often was reminiscing it, but It felt blank, just like the pages!

A small life inside her, the feeling was new but not strange. The pain was real but not hated. The struggle to handle new life now became tough but not ugly. With the small life, the love of life and the family of the loved one, she kept on sailing. She always gifted now, but expected nothing back. A machine saluted her, it seemed she broke its record. Relationship was a daily chore, caring became mandate but with the little life, it all seemed worthy. She knew she has changed, the reason may be because she was a giver now, a life giver! But did that mean she’ll be the only one giving always?

Turning pages of the album, the one which was created after photos started clicking! The pictures said so much, but she didn’t remember much. May be because the memories in the brain was better clicked than these pictures! The little lives have grown up, budding as teens, roaming around her. She glanced at them and thought, did she pass that stage too? And like always, she remembered nothing! Maybe because in her act of giving she never got the chance to feel, to cherish what she had at that moment. She glanced at the watch, time kept passing, it never stopped neither did she! She walked towards the voice that called for her! Remember the family of the loved one?

May be today she may get some time to smile and read! The need for comfort was real this time, she glanced up for help. But there was nothing around. As usual she served herself! The book on her lap wasn’t even opened. Alone, tired she closed her eyes to the calmness. May be for sometime she can just relax, slow down, rather than give! The thought made her smile, until someone called her and with half open eyes, she ran, just like usual!

May be that’s a girl, a dutiful daughter, a shield as a sister, a provider as a wife, a selfless lover as a mother and above all a constant giver, as a woman!!
